This webinar will present examples of using X3D to visualize architectural scenes as well as BIM, Building Information Modeling, content. Live web based X3D scenes will be demonstrated and the authoring tools and techniques used to create the X3D scenes will be explained. X3D scenes can be generated from international standard IFC, Industry Foundation Classes, files as well as other AEC standards such as Revit that can be converted to IFC. Use of other data sources such as laser-scanned point cloud data and photogrammetry will be demonstrated as well. X3D enabled annotations, animation, and interactivity will be included in the X3D visualizations.
