Web3D 2018 announces Calls for Papers, posters, tutorials, workshops, industrial use cases, Demonstration, and H-Anim Competition.
This year’s theme “3D Everywhere” emphasizes the global scope and impact of current and future 3D technology. Web3D wants to foster and support the increasing development, use, and utility of 3D technologies for application developers, domain experts, as well as for end users. This includes the creation of interactive 3D content, robust and versatile 3D content representation and delivery standards, as well as presentation and interaction techniques enabling development of user-friendly 3D applications.

Preceding the Web3D 2018 Conference in Poznan. Web3D Consortium will sponsor a VR Hackathon from 17-19 June 2018. This community-driven event is focused on bringing together the brightest minds interested in virtual reality and related technologies to develop innovative hardware and software solutions, have fun, and help build out the future of immersive technologies. This year to promote the use of immersive technologies in the real world, VR Hackathons will include industry-specific challenges.
