ETRI, Korea is a non-profit government-funded research institute. Web3D Consortium partnership is important to ETRI for its ISO international standardization efforts on 3D Printing and Scanning. As the ISO JTC 1 WG 12 on 3D Printing and scanning evolves, collaboration with Web3D Consortium's WG Design, Printing and Scanning (DPS) will help advance this effort. The expertise of the Web3D Consortium DSP WG and the close association between JTC 1 SC 24 and Web3D Consortium will further benefit ISO standardization of 3D Printing and Scanning initiative.
